セカンドライフの【暮らしの愉しみ】～日々を愛しみ丁寧に生きることによって、一隅を照らせますように～

　7月29日、ＩＰＳ細胞によるパーキンソン病の治験が京都大学で始まることが発表されました。

私の母はパーキンソン病なので私はメールを書きました。

昨夜（３０日）のニュースで私は対象者の条件のひとつが５０～６９歳までであることを知りました。

しかし、今朝、京都大学の高橋教授から返事が来ました。今回はリスクを考慮して年齢制限を設けたこと、成功したら年齢の幅も広げていきたいとそこには書かれていました。

私は忙しいにも関わらず返事を下さった高橋教授に心から感謝しています。

On July 29, it was announced that  with IPS cells will begin in Kyoto University.

My mother has the Parkinson 's disease so I wrote an email.

Yesterday (30th) on the news I heard that one of the conditions to be in this clinical trial is for the people to be 50 to 69 years old.

However, yesterday, a reply came from Professor Takahashi of Kyoto University.

This time it was written there that age restriction was set considering the risk, if it succeeds it will broaden the range of the people that can be treated.

I am sincerely thankful to Professor Takahashi who has responded to my mail despite being busy.

朝はいつも通り、スムージーから。

母がデイサービスに行く前に、食事作り。

あちらこちらエアコンを付けるのがもったいないので、もうお台所へ行かなくていいように。

日中は居間で過ごしています。

夕食はご飯はなしにしていますが、コロッケ（焼いています）を食べたのでは同じこと（それ以上かも）

お豆腐は卵豆腐。

 トンボが今朝,庭の桃の木に飛んで来ました。

This morning, a dragonfly perched on a branch of the peach tree in my garden.Isn't it too early? I was surprised.

息子夫婦が母の日にくれたランはまだ美しく咲いています。

The orchid that my son and his wife gave me for Mother's Day are still beautifully blooming.

台風は無事に通り過ぎました。

The typhoon passed without any incidents.

　3時、目が覚めた時の月です。

その後4時に空を見た時、曇って私は月を見ることは出来ませんでした。

でも、朝は腫れていました。

At 3 am, I woke up.This is a picture which I took at that time.Then at 4 am when I saw the sky, it was cloudy and I could not see the moon.However, it was sunny in the morning.

　「旅サラダ」でコスタリカについて3週間放映されました。

今日はその最後の日でした。

コスタリカは自然豊かな美しい国です。

動物や果物の色はとてもカラフルで、海は美しく青い。

私はいつかコスタリカに行ってみたいと思います。（友人もいますので）

It was broadcasted nationwide about Costa Rica for 3 weeks on a TV program called "Tabi Salada( Travel Salad)".Today was the last day.  Costa RicaLara is a beautiful country with rich of nature. The colors of animals and fruits are very colorful, the sea is beautiful and blue. I would like to go to Costa Rica someday.

　明日の夜明け前、皆既月食が始まりますが、残念ながら台風が来ています。

今日は最高気温が34.8℃、最低気温は27.2℃でした。

連日、36~38℃が続いていたので、今日は涼しく感じられました。

天気予想によると台風は岡山を直撃しそうです。

被災地にこれ以上被害が広がらないことを祈ります。

私はバヌアツからの学生を日曜日に招待していましたが、台風のため予定変更になりそうです。

Total eclipse of the moon will start before tomorrow's dawn, but unfortunately a typhoon is coming. Today the maximum temperature was 34.8 ℃ and the lowest temperature was 27.2 ℃. It was cool today because the temperature was 36 ~ 38 ℃, which continued every day. According to the weather forecast, the typhoon will come to Okayama.I hope no more damage will be caused in the areas affected by it.
Also, I invited a student from Vanuatu to my house on Sunday, but because of the typhoon,our schedule will change.

　今日の夕食はこれはしらすと青紫蘇をのせた「卵かけご飯」、オリーブオイルとにんにくで味付けされた「鰹の叩き」、花かつおをかけた「なすの浅漬け」、味付け海苔です。

　私は毎朝、朝食前にスムージーを作って飲みます。

スムージーの中身は日によって違いますが、概ね、りんご、バナナ、人参、セロリー、小松菜、豆乳、オリーブオイル、酢、メイプルシロップです。

シーフードと野菜と果物の入ったカレーと春雨サラダです。

日本のカレーは本場のインドのカレーとは随分と違いますね。

This is a curry with seafood, vegetables and fruits and a vermicelli salad. Japanese curry is quite different from authentic Indian curry

　今朝、目が覚めた時東の空が燃えるように赤かったので、急いで一番東の部屋から空を眺めました。

とても美しかったのですが、いつものように電線が邪魔でしたので、私は急いで川に行きました。

先日、私に話しかけてきた高齢の人が再び今日も私に話しかけてきました。

「今日の空は特別すごかった。あなたは２０分来るのが遅かった。」

私はそれを見たので急いで川に来たことを彼に話しました。

彼の話によると、日の出の30分前が一番美しいそうです。

今日の日の出の時間は5時08分でした。

そして、その時の気温は28℃でした。

When I woke up this morning the sky in the east was red like burning, so I hurriedly looked at the sky from the eastern room. It was very beautiful, but as usual the electric wire was in the way, I rushed to the river. The elderly person who spoke to me last time spoke to me again today. "Today's sky was especially extraordinary , you were 20 minutes late coming here."I told him that I came to the river in a hurry as I saw it. According to his story, 30 minutes before sunrise seems to be the most beautiful.Today's sunrise time was 5:08.And the temperature at that time was 28 ℃.

　朝食

「巻き寿司」と大豆から作られる「高野豆腐」です。

「高野豆腐」は出しと砂糖で甘く炊きます。

This food is called "Makizushi/Rolled sushi"and "KoyaTofu" made from soybeans.

It is cooked Japanese seasoning called Dashi and sugar, therefore it has sweet taste.

火曜日の午後は母のことでとても忙しいです。（又、時々午前中病院に連れて行かなくてはならない）

今日は2時半からケアマネージャーさんが来られ、3時過ぎからホームドクターが来られ、3時45分からヘルパーが来られました。

今日はアイスクリームと冷たい日本茶とおはぎ（小豆と米で作られたスイーツ）をお出ししました。

I am very busy with my mother's errands every Tuesday afternoon.  (Also, on Tuesday morning, sometimes I have to take my mother to the hospital) From 2 pm,the care manager came.From 3pm,the home doctor came.  From 3:35 pm,the helper came. Today I served them ice cream and cold Japanese tea and Ohagi (sweets made with red beans and rice).

ホスピス仲間が遊びに来ました。

　ホスピス仲間が私のお誕生のお祝いを兼ねて遊びに来てくれました。外に食べに出るかお弁当かで気を遣ってくれていましたが、やはり暑さが怖いので家で過ごすことにしました。 ......
